Colourful chicken eggs. All natural, the colours being exactly what the hens laid.
Plus a quail egg.
Yesterday I pulled up my sleeves and put together this little menu for Easter tea. It was me, mum and granny. I prepared everything in one go.
Traditional sandwich cake with ham and cheese, devilled eggs with trout roe, orange, avocado and mozzarella salad, panna cotta with sea-buckthorn curd and some tartlets.
The sandwich cake had a whopping nine layers or so. Everything was really tasty!
Took just a few quick snaps before we sat down to enjoy it all.
